Your gameplay,
narrated.
Colorcast puts a live AI color commentator on your stream. Hit a key, say "got him", or let the game fire the event — an original character writes the line and says it in about a second.
Free tier, no card. macOS and Linux builds are in progress.
About a second from moment to voice
Colorcast doesn't watch your screen and guess. You tell it the moment, it says something worth clipping.
Trigger
A global hotkey that works with the game focused, a Stream Deck key, a mic callout like "clutch", or a game event straight from CS2, Dota 2 or League of Legends.
Write
The persona writes one or two lines about that moment, in character, from a sheet you can edit. No real people, ever.
Speak
Streamed text-to-speech starts talking before the sentence is finished. Typical trigger-to-voice is about one second.
Route
Audio goes to whatever output you choose — your stream mix, a virtual cable into Discord or proximity chat — and OBS ducks your game audio under it.
Commentators, not chatbots
Six original characters at launch. Each one has a voice, a vocabulary and a list of things it will never say. Creator remixes them; Pro adds the Persona Studio to create your own.
The Naturalist
A prestige wildlife documentary about the strangest animal of all: the gamer.
[whispers]And there… movement. Our forager freezes, pupils dilating as adrenaline floods the system.
Booth
Live play-by-play with a color analyst's heart and no indoor voice.
[excited]OH he's got the angle, he's got the ANGLE — and DOWN goes the defender!
Sarge
A drill instructor who has seen your K/D and is deeply unimpressed.
[gravely]Outstanding. Don't let it go to your head. It won't fit.
The Wake
A horror narrator who already knows how this ends.
[whispers]They think the room is empty. The room disagrees.
Inner Voice
The player's private thoughts. Confidently, completely wrong about everything.
[concerned]Lag. That was lag. There's no other explanation and I refuse to hear one.
The Analyst
Deadpan esports desk analyst. Every death is a decision-making case study.
[softly]On paper, holding that angle was correct. On paper, nobody dies.

Questions streamers ask first
Does it work while my game has focus?
Yes. The hotkey helper is a separate process using a low-level keyboard hook, so full-screen games don't swallow the key. It has been tested with games that block ordinary hotkeys.
How fast is it?
Usually about a second from trigger to the first word, depending on your connection. Lines stream as they're written and spoken, so the voice starts before the sentence ends.
Can it sound like a famous narrator?
Not out of the box. The built-in personas are original characters. If you've hired a voice actor or licensed a voice, you can build a persona around it; having that permission is on you (see the terms).
Does it listen to my mic all the time?
Only if you turn mic callouts on. With the local speech model downloaded (Settings), recognition runs on your PC. Without it, short clips of what you say go to the speech-to-text service you picked, using your own key.
What is the Founding Creator price?
The first 200 Creator subscribers pay $7.99 a month instead of $9.99, for as long as they stay subscribed. Once 200 subscribers hold it, the offer closes for good.
