AI caster for League of Legends streams
During a match, League serves live match data on your own PC. Colorcast reads it once a second and has an original AI character call your plays as they happen. Nothing to install in the game.
What it reacts to
- Your kills, with first blood called out, and double, triple, quadra and penta kills.
- Your deaths, including who got you.
- Aces, for your team or against it.
- Objectives: dragons (by type), Rift Herald, Baron Nashor, void grubs and Atakhan, with steals noted, and towers and inhibitors on both sides.
- Victory or defeat.
Ganks, teamfights, split pushes and misplays are yours to call with a hotkey, a Stream Deck key or your mic. The MOBA preset has a moment for each.
How it connects
Riot's Live Client Data API is a read-only endpoint the game client runs on your PC (127.0.0.1:2999) while a match is in progress. Colorcast asks it for new events once a second. Joining partway through a game doesn't replay what already happened.
- In Colorcast, open Triggers and turn on League of Legends (Live Client Data) in the Game adapters card.
- Pick the MOBA preset on the Session page.
- Start a match. The card switches to live once the game starts reporting.
On stream
Add the OBS overlay for captions, and route the voice wherever you like: stream only, or into Discord through a virtual cable.
Free tier, no card. Game events are part of Creator and Pro; hotkeys, Stream Deck and mic callouts work on every plan.

Questions
Does this touch the game or Vanguard?
No. Colorcast reads Riot's local Live Client Data endpoint, the same read-only feed overlay tools use. It doesn't read game memory, inject anything or change game files.
Do I have to set anything up in League?
No. The endpoint is part of the game client. Turn the adapter on in Colorcast and play.
Does it work if I start Colorcast mid-game?
Yes. It picks up from the next event and skips everything that already happened, so it won't narrate a backlog.
Which plan do I need?
Game events are part of Creator and Pro. On Free you can still trigger every moment with hotkeys, Stream Deck and mic callouts.
